Items to be kept in office temporary...

Due to recent work schedules and world cup season, I am not able to do reviews on them at the
moment and thus, gotta keep them in office temporary :)

Hot Toys "T-800" in Terminator 2 Pt.3

When comparing the previous release "Dutch", this is the best head sculpt that resembles Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1/6 figure lines. Besides well produced skin texture, the paint job on the lips is convincing. The glossy eyes with finely painted eyebrows are also parts of the reason that makes the head sculpt looks amazing.

Again, the spiky hair at the top of the head is accurately replicated from the character in the movie. The hair line is detailed shown and skin tone of the figure is beautifully carried out too.

You may even find some weathering on the surface of the boots, a nice touch there.

The pistol with removable magazine is another weapon comes with the figure and it seems a bit "small" for Schwarzenegger’s hands.

The best accessory given is the interchangeable left forearm featuring bloody and articulated endoskeleton.

It would be a little "tight" when removing the normal forearm from the figure. You have to hold the robot forearm near elbow joint when fitting it in place. Otherwise, the bloody pistons and fingers get broken easily. Similar to "T-800 Endoskeleton", the metal hand has articulated fingers that allow you to adjust the way you want it to be.

Anyway, I am very pleased with the figure and I highly recommend to pick it up if you are a huge fan of Terminator series. For previous reviews, you may read here and here.

Hot Toys "T-800" in Terminator 2 Pt.2

This is Schwarzenegger's iconic look (with his shades on) as T-800 in "Terminator 2". The grey colour T-shirt fits pretty well to the newly developed rubber upper body. The leather-like belt with buckle works great too.

The stitching and weathering work on the leather outfit are excellent. The leather outfit is also tailored to fit the figure and all zippers here are produced in 1/6 scale. Hot Toys also uses thin velcro to fasten the leather pants.

I have no doubt the overall appearance of the figure is very screen accurate.

The shotgun can be hidden inside the box of roses which I didn't show it in the photos.

Hot Toys has been delivering great texturing work on the skin in its recent figures and this one is no exception especially to the head and upper body. There are 2 sets of skinned hands for you to change and all of them work well with the weapons and accessories.

You have to lift the figure head up whenever turning it as to avoid damaging the skin surface of the neck. The shades also fit perfectly to the head and you can remove it easily.

Here are some photos taken on the T-800 that fires the shotgun.

The articulation of the muscled body has some restriction and both elbow joints allow only 90 degree bend. All the joints are fairly tight for the figure to hold some basic poses.

Really took a lot of photos on this figure as it looks fantastic. Just can't take my eyes off it. For box package, please click here.

Knight and Day

"Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz star in the action-comedy "Knight & Day". During their glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure, nothing and no one - even the now fugitive couple - are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth versus trust (Movie Plot: Yahoo! Movies Singapore)."

"Knight and Day" was a fast paced movie with lots of action and comedy. The plot was a bit weak but the acting of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz was good. Cruise is still a good looking man and he had great chemistry with Diaz. The scenery in the movie was beautiful especially the town in Austria. Car chase and bull chase were not surprised to me as there were similar scenes in other movies. Some parts of the plot were not convincing for instance, it did not show how the lead actors managed to escape from the island. The ending was fairly predictable too. Overall, the movie was enjoyable and it deserves a rating of 3 out of 5.

Hasbro - Human Alliance Mudflap Pt.1 (ROTF)

I was disappointed when I bought the Human Alliance Mudflap as all its lights are painted with colours. They don't look realistic at all.

Obviously, you will have no problem to put "Agent Simmons" in the car.

As the head lights of the car are painted in grey, there is no reason why the toy manufacturer did not paint the tail lights.

In Chevy Trax Concept Mode, the overall appearance of the car is similar to Deluxe Class Mudflap. The only difference is the scale of the car.

The little head sculpt is well produced as it represents great likeness of John Turturro.

The Autobot signs are also printed on both sides of the lower fairing kit. I love the body colour of the bike as Hasbro did a nice glossy finish work.

The robot head is placed in front of the "oil tank" which also became the chest piece of Chromia in robot mode.

As the bike is too big for Agent Simmons, you may not able to have him sitting on the seat all the time.
